TOPIC: Great Hopewell Rally

Anyone going to kick off the rally season close by at the South Ohio Beemer's Rally? I went last year and it was a really nice laid back rally with good food, nice folks and interesting rides. This year, I'm thinking about taking Charlie and getting a cabin. There's a 6 person cabin close to the tenting area. It will keep us dry if it rains and warm if it's still cold....last year, it was both. I'm open to sharing the cost. Total cost is $300, yeah pricey for a 2 night cabin but they say that it has heat. Here's what it says from their website. You can have a bunk for $50, pending a background check...LOL.

i will be heading up... my old room mate's band is playing Saturday night in Athens... we are going to kind of wing it. i plan on arriving Friday. the plan is to leave from Heinz Hall at 1.00 on Friday. great roads and good times. i've done it in the past. Sam, the organizer, used to live next door to me in college.

by all means.... i am meeting up with my buddy James over the border in Ohio. i want to stop in at the Bigfoot Convention on the way over somewhere near Zanesville. ohiobigfootconference.org I recon I will slab it down the 79 to get to Jame's place. He's just across the river from Wheeling.... i believe it's St Clairsville or something. i get off work mid-day downtown and plan on heading out afterwards around the crack of 1:00. Pick a meetup place South of town on the 79 for 1:30 and we can head off.
