TOPIC: North breakfast title

It was brought to my attention at Leo's meeting by some members wondering why there isnt any rides schedules for the North breakfast breakfast and even called us , Pancake riders. this is because if a ride is schedule , some riders wont show thinking it was just a gathering for that, instead of the fellowship and comradery we share. I took it upon my self in the past to post a reminder a week before the gathering to let people know. I will no longer post. if interested check the monthly newsletter when and where the breakfasts are. Ron Latkovic aka reddyk

Sorry to hear this, sounds like 3rd grade BS (sorry I'm not the most politicly correct member) to me. I for one appreciate your reminders and would hope you might reconsider. I enjoy the breakfast meetings, it provides a gathering place and allows "us pancake riders" to catch up. ANYBODY is welcome to put a ride together before or after any one of the breakfast meetings, that goes without saying - it's a free country (coming from a veteran). Maybe the critics should be more involved, easy to sit on the sidelines and complain ... Off my soapbox now, please reconsider Ron, it IS appreciated.

I agree with Don, I appreciate your reminders. My schedule is frequently crazy and I find your reminders very helpful. We are a very diverse group with a lot of different personalities, that can frequently lead to clashes. Remember, do what you can for the club. If someone has suggestions(or criticisms), listen to them. If they are good ideas, incorporate them, if not don't.. We need members to remain active, if not, things will fall apart

I agree too with Don and Sean! I much appreciate your notices of the North Breakfast Ride, Ron. Besides, Breakfast Rides are not specific rides... They're a ride to the breakfast, and home again, if someone wants to do that, just to get together with fellow motorcyclists over a nice breakfast for the camaraderie, and they're also a meeting/breakfast for those who want to go for a ride someplace after the breakfast according to their wishes and planning together before, at, or during the additional tire kicking session at the bikes after the breakfast. It's a free-wheeling thing. So your reminders, ReddyK are bang on the button and a REAL help!! And many thanks to you for them!
