I would be interested in a local tech day. I think the biggest logistical issue will be a location that will facilitate having the bikes, tools, etc. Some good topics may be getting/finding parts, electronic support (GS-911, etc.), oil changes, valve clearances, etc.

Got some space. No lift tho. Quite a few of the appropriate tools for even big jobs. Maybe someone has more space and more tech know-how. I am going to culpepper va on the 20th with a 5-speed tranny already partially rebuilt. Gonna finish it there. Most tech days in pa seem to be in central or eastern pa

I have a typical garage near South Park with tools. Besides tinkering/upgrading my newer bikes, I have a project ‘73 R75/5. I’m not heading to Culpepper. I’ve rebuilt my 4-speed and hopefully shimmed it properly.

With folks belly-aching about parts and service at the monthly meetings, I would have thought there would be more interest in DIY.

Lotta belly achin. Already done 1 5 speed tranny, but it was a while ago and didnt get the top(shim) replacement shared with me. Craig Immel did that bit and i wasnt allowed to watch. Dale in va will share that final nugget of knowledge with me. His home shop, while small ;is full of tools and equipment. On top of that hes a super nice guy.
I am in monroeville. Sadly havent managed even one ride yet this summer. Between work, kids and honey-do list i need a clone for some me timr lol
