Just got back from Des Moines, The word Best describing this years National is again .... HOT! Putting the Heat aside, another Good job by the MOA in finding a really Beautiful Location. The Fair Grounds were HUGE .... Really HUGE, Beautiful AIR Conditioned Buildings for vendors, and seminars, Bike Judging ETC. Good food and Drink available on the grounds, along with TWO Trams running all day. Camping looked good, LOTS of shade! We had a good time, didn't ride around the area much, ..... just too HOT. Attendence was around 4500 Happy Rallyers! Joe and I did stop at the AMA Motorcycle Museum in Ohio on your way out, Checked out the Plaques for "4 Winds", Al Vangura, George Wolf, and Glenn and Eileen Kidd. I thought there is a plaque for Wayne Kelly too, but couldn't find it. A great Museum and FREE to get in if your a AMA member! We also stopped at the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton, Another wonderful Museum! that is also Free to get in! Next Years MOA National is in Tennessee!, IN JUNE! maybe it will be cooler! Hope you can make it!
