I have tried to write this several times and it keeps getting too long so let me just say the circumstances have led me to put my 2014 BMW 1200 R Classic up for sale. I know a number of you have seen it at the Four Winds Rally over the past several years. Current mileage is 72,000 miles. It believe it is one of those Beemers that was properly built and will probably last for another 70,000 miles. It has been extremely reliable and very well maintained over that time. I have never had a mechanical issue of any kind over the past 10 years unless you count a flat tire. It was bought new at Holt BMW and I’ve met all services intervals on time over the years. I’m asking $4,900 for it. I think it would be a great bike for someone wanting to get into BMWs or a second bike for someone with a bigger rig.
